Sage Safety in Society

The ethos of Sage Safety is closely aligned to many aspects of the social and cultural fabric of the society we live in. It is not just in the business environment that the Sages are concerned for the safety and welfare of people and the planet; most of the Sages are involved in social, cultural and sporting activities and deploy their safety management and organisational skills freely as part of their concern that the rising generation will grow up to be independent, self-reliant, resourceful, physically fit and fully integrated into an environment protected from the worst depredations of mankind, in which challenging, stretching and competitive activities can take place safely.

Sage Safety Ltd is fully aligned to the Olympic ideal, especially the necessity to inculcate this culture when the future decision makers are young. The company has helped to fund youth dinghy sailors for several years, identifying that few other sports combine all the qualities of skill, fitness, mental toughness, stamina and endurance in quite the same way as dinghy racing. Youth sailors don’t do single handed round the world – but they can be on the path that leads to Olympic Golds or Americas Cup success.

Many of the Sages give their time and skills to youth and adult sporting events and contribute to the fabric of society. If we are able – and have time to spare – we will gladly entertain proposals to help at no charge.
